The press conference on the partnership that took place between the Kuwait Football Federation and the School Sports Federation

On Sunday evening, the press conference on the partnership that took place between the Kuwait Football Federation and the School Sports Federation was held in the main meeting hall of the Kuwaiti Federation.

The conference was attended by the Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Development and Activities in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education – Chairman of the Board of Directors of the School Sports Federation Faisal Al-Maqseed, Member of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Football Federation – Head of the Women’s Football Committee in the Federation Fatima Hayat and Secretary-General of the Federation Salah Issa Al-Qena’i, in addition to the Vice-President of the Board The management of the School Sports Federation, Walid Ayesh, and a member of the Board of Directors of the School Sports Federation, Nasser Bunyan.

Faisal Al-Maqsed said that the aim of this agreement is to discover and refine talents, support them in an effort to develop sports, and restore the role of schools in the search for talents.

He thanked His Excellency the Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi for his great support and keenness to take care of sports talents in schools, and he also thanked the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Football Federation for signing the agreement.

For her part, Fatima Hayat thanked the School Sports Federation for signing the agreement, as this agreement supports the work and strategy of the Kuwait Football Federation, especially women’s football.

She considered that cultivating these talents from a young age contributes to the development of the sports system significantly.

For his part, Salah Al-Qena’i, Secretary-General of the Federation, said that this agreement includes joint festivals between the two parties, which help discover talent.

He explained that the federation is in the process of organizing several courses to establish referees and coaches for the affiliates of the School Sports Federation, in order to develop the system, hoping that this agreement will be a good tributary for national teams and clubs in the future.
